Booking an Appointment

If you wish to book an appointment with one of our clinicians please contact the Practice on:

Our reception team will take your name and some basic information about your request.  They will then be able to direct you to the clinician best placed to deal with your ailment or query.

Some clinicians work from this Medical Practice and we may also signpost you to colleagues who work at other locations.

Continuity of care

If you have discussed the issue with a GP previously or prefer to speak to a specific GP then please tell the receptionist and they will be able to let you know when that GP's first appointment is (not necessarily that same day). 

Telephone consultation requests:

Please ensure that when you request a telephone consultation that the GP/nurse or other clinician can actually complete the request without seeing you.

Face to face consultation requests:

If you feel you need to be seen, then please ensure you book a face to face appointment.

Virtual Consultation

 If the GP or nurse feel they need to see you they may initially try to consult with you by our virtual consultation system “Near Me”. You will require access to a computer or smart phone so that you can see and hear the clinician.

Home Visits

All requests for Home Visits WILL BE TELEPHONE TRIAGED BY GP OR NURSE

A doctor or nurse may phone you back as it may be that your problem can be dealt with by telephone advice, or that it would be more appropriate to send a nurse, or indeed arrange a hospital attendance.

House visits are only available for patients who are housebound because of illness or disability.

Please remember that several patients can be seen in the practice in the time that it takes to make one home visit. There are also better facilities for examining and treating patients at the Health Centre.

This timetable is provided for guidance only and it may vary due to other commitments and to address patient needs.

In addition to the sessions below, locum GPs may work various sessions throughout the week.
