Out of Hours
If you require a doctor after 6pm, at weekends or on public holidays when the surgery is closed, please telephone the usual number (0845 – 337 – 6310).  Your call will then be redirected to NHS 24

Test Results
The Practice has scheduled time (2pm – 4pm) each weekday for patients wishing to enquire about Test Results. Please select the appropriate option when telephoning the practice.

Cancelling your Appointment
If you are unable to attend an appointment with one of the doctors or nurses, please telephone or use the link at the bottom of this page to cancel your appointment.

Community Nurses

01464 – 821510 Jean Anderson - District Nursing Team Leader, Alison Thomson -District Nurse and Heather McKinnon and Donna McRae Community staff nurses. The Community Nursing Team within the Garioch Health & Community Care Team cover a wide geographical area and have administrative bases at Insch, Inverurie, Kemnay and Westhill. The nurses all have a specific interest in working in the community and have a range of personal specialist interests in areas such as cancer, diabetes, asthma, sexual health and the elderly. The nurses work closely with Health Visiting, Care Managers, Home Care Supervisors, GPs and GP Practice Nurses and hospital staff. If someone has a specific health problem the nurses will set up care plans to help them achieve and maintain better health and well-being.

Health Visitors

01464 – 821520 Ada Robb - Health Visitor working Mon - Thur and Gail Chapman Health Visitor working Wed - Fri.  The Health Visiting team includes trainee Health Visitors, immunisation nurses and a nursery nurse. The Health Visiting team focus their activity on children, the family and their family groups within the community. Their caseload is mainly the under 5 year olds. The service offers advice on coping skills for parents, along with general advice, support, and access to resources around child and family health/social issues and often includes referral to other members of the multi-disciplinary care team. The health visitors offer regular Baby Clincs, Child Vaccination Clinics, Baby Massage, First Aid for Under 5s and other parent support/training groups in the health centre.
